Loving Our Neighbors - The Good Samaritan

Welcome! We are beginning a new series this week. All summer long we explored God’s creation, looking closely at the beauty in the world God made. We learned that people were created in the image of God, lovingly and carefully made just so. So now we are beginning to wonder: how can we love the people that God made? How can we be kind to and take care of all the people in the world?

You might be thinking, “Wow! That’s a really big job! I can’t possibly love ALL the people all over the world–there are too many!” There is a story in the Bible that talks about this very thing. In the scripture and video below, you can hear about a time when a man asked Jesus what it means to love your neighbors.

What does it mean? How do we love our neighbors? Let’s find out.
