Summer of Wonder - Animals
/Each week during this Summer of Wonder, we will examine a different part of God’s creation, wondering at the beauty, science, and mystery of the world around us. This week, we are looking closely at animals!
Scripture:
In the Bible, we can read the creation story in Genesis and think about how and why God might have created animals.
God spoke: “Earth, generate life! Every sort and kind:
cattle and reptiles and wild animals—all kinds.”
And there it was:
wild animals of every kind,
Cattle of all kinds, every sort of reptile and bug.
God saw that it was good.
Wondering:
I wonder what we can learn about God when we think of all of the different kinds of animals - the way they look and sound, and the things they can do?
