2020 Year End Reflections

WOW! 2020 was a big year. I can think of a lot of ways that this year was unique and challenging for me. How about you?

Wondering Questions:

  • I wonder which parts of this year you remember most?

  • I wonder which parts of this year were hardest for you?

  • I wonder which parts made you happiest?

Talk with your grownup about these memories. Do they have different answers than you?

Activity

Ask a grownup to help you print this page, or you can make your own on a blank piece of paper. Someday you can look back and this and remember what it was like to be you in 2020!

God With Us

Bible Verse: Isaiah 7:14

But the Lord will still show you this sign:

The young woman is pregnant and will give birth to a son.
She will name him Immanuel, which means “God with us.”

One of the names that people called Jesus is “Immanuel,” which means “God With Us.” During Advent and on Christmas, we learned that Jesus was born on Earth as a baby, to live here with us. It can feel so comforting to think of God right here with us, during our happy times and sad times, during the hard times and the easy times.

When you think back on your year, can you think of times that God might have been with you?

Prayer

Let’s pray together as we think back on the year and look forward to a new one!
